The first part of the week that far away grandma came up was nice & hot. The second part of the week was cool and rainy! The girls still had swimming lessons in the morning. So one afternoon, we went to Bob's Red Mill. They have lots of different whole grains that you can buy in bulk and we wanted to show my mom this mill. Then we also went to the zoo on Dayton's actual birthday which was Wednesday. It was a rainy cold day - but the kids always seem to enjoy the zoo - we were there all afternoon. My mom left Thursday, the visit went by so fast. We're thankful she came up to see us, and we enjoyed having here up here. Here are some pics from the mill and from the zoo:
