Don's parents came up to our home on Sept 21st after church to celebrate his mom's birthday. We figured that they might be up in Utah the next week for Matthew & Lori's baby & also the following week we had a night meeting for church since our wards were being changed (3 wards being split into 5). We're in a new ward now - which includes all the land north of Washougal and Camas that is really in the boonies (none of the new ward is really in town now)- our new bishop said our ward will be known as the Hillbilly or Mountain ward. Don still has his same calling as Elder's Quorum President. I don't know what I'll be doing - but I loved my old calling as RS pianist as it was helping me learn & practice the piano more. It was sad to leave our old ward, but we look forward to meeting the all the new people.
Anyways, back to the birthday party... we had a great time with Don's mom & dad & we hope she had a happy birthday!!
