We woke up early in the morning on the fourth and headed out to Hidden Leaf Park, the park our ward meets at for their annual fourth of July celebration breakfast. They had a nice program and musical numbers and a yummy breakfast. How thankful we are for our many freedoms that we are blessed with from living in this great country.
After the breakfast, we went back home and worked in our yard. Late afternoon, we headed out to Don's parents for a BarBQ. We had a fun visit with everyone. Great Grandma made her famous flag cake. The kids spent the night there and watched fireworks in Portland with them. Don & I went home and had a nice evening - watching some fireworks from our front porch and watching a movie.

Great Grandma & Courtney picking the yummy thornless raspberries. We took a shoot from our old house in Portland before we moved. We were going to plant them up here - but never did since we decided to move. We want to take a few shoots with us to Texas (& see if we can grow them there).
