June was a busy month, I can't believe it came & went so fast. It seems like I have so much to update, now I don't know where to start...
Let see, what has happened last month. The first celebration in June was Father's Day. The girls (with the primary) sang a beautiful song in sacrament meeting, "Fathers are so Special" When they sang it, it made me cry. I remember singing that song for my dad when I was a child. It's a very touching song and it expresses my feeling for my dad. I'm not very eloquent with words so I'm just going to quote the song since it expresses my feelings. "The father of our home leads our family, with wisdom's light in all that's right, my father's good to me. Fathers are so special with a very special love. They watch us and protect us. They guide us and direct us, back to our home above." I love my dad & miss him so much, I am so grateful to him for his life, his love, and his example to me. I'm very thankful for Don's father too, he is a wonderful father and example to us too. He is one of Don's best friends and I don't know what Don would do without him. Both of our fathers have both been so good to us and we love them more than we could ever say. I am very thankful to Don for being a wonderful father to our children. I am indeed very blessed.
Don's parents came up for Father's day. We had a nice dinner with them. Don's dad helped Don finish setting up Dayton's bed while they were there. He started the night before, but needed some help from his dad before he could finish. Dayton was thrilled to be a "big boy" and get a bed of his own. Here are some pictures from that day.
