The week between Courtney's & Melanie's Birthday (March 14 - 15), they had a combined slumber birthday party. Since it was so close to Easter, we colored Easter eggs, had an Easter Egg hunt, & played pin the shell on the egg (a game that Courtney & Melanie made that is like pin the tail on the donkey). We also decorated cupcakes, made jewelry and watched movies. The girls had 6 friends come over - they are all such sweet girls. They slept in the attic that night. We were going to set tents up to look like a camp out, but since Don ended up having to work that Friday night until 9pm & all the next day (Saturday), I didn't get it set up on my own. The girls still had a great time with all their sleeping bags up there. I was starting to feel better & not so nauseous - which was good since I was on my feet busily working from 8am in the morning (cleaning and preparing things) until 12am (midnight) that night when the girls finally went to sleep.
