Dayton

Dayton started preschool last Monday. Emma & I stayed with him on Monday. Tuesday, we just dropped him off. He loved it. They had play time, art time, story time, snack time, song time, good bye/hug time, gym time, & probably other things I am forgetting to mention. Well, he didn't want to leave both days. He cried when we came to pick him up, he didn't want to go back home with us. He actually started to try imiating words more.... not necessarily from starting preschool last week, but I guess his brain just figured he could do it. So this is what he said before (the five famous words he said for the last 6 months)... dada, mama, wawa (water), ju (juice), & ou (out)... These are his new words from last week or so: go, no, yes, bye bye, coco (courtney), & he tries emma & mel - but doesn't quite sound distinguishable yet & he is trying copy words I say (where before he wouldn't attempt words - only one consonant). One of these days, I'll figure out how to use the video camera on my little digital & get some clips of him talking. Here's some pictures of him from his first day of school:
