Easter kind of snuck up on us. We were use to celebrating Easter in April, that we were surprised when we realized it was the weekend we had planned to go to Leavenworth. We got arrived back (from Leavinworth)to Don's parents about 3:30ish. The kids had colored eggs the day before & then got to run around the house looking for the eggs/candy that the Easter Bunny (Grandma/pa & Gr. Grandma) had left for them. We had a very nice ham dinner. Great Grandma made a beautiful Easter Cake. She told us this cake is the traditional Henry and Dijuan Coates' Family Easter dessert. It was so delicious. We are very sorry to hear about the baby. I can't believe how much you guys do. That food at Grandma Coates looks good. I hope you guys have a lot of fun in NYC!! Are you staying with Ryan and Dana? Keep warm and bring the umbrellas, if not they are $5 from the street vendors.
