Veteran's Day

The day before Veteran's Day, Courtney School had a Veteran's Day assembly at her where she sang in her choir. The songs they sang were so touching to me and a great tribute to all that our troops have done for us so I found the videos of the songs on youtube and posted them to the political blog earlier, but I felt the songs were so touching I wanted to post them here as well, if you haven't seen them.

The Veteran's Day Assembly, I am sitting so far in the back - that you can barely see Courtney's Choir in the front of the gym.

Thanks to all of our Brave Armed Forces -past , present & future- who have sacrificed to protect and fight for our Freedom

It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier, not the lawyer who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the soldier who salutes the flag serves under the flag and whose coffin is draped by the flag who gives the protester the right to burn the flag.

"Our obligations to our country never cease but with our lives." —John

God Bless America and God Bless Our Troops, What would we do without them?

I've been so busy with Christmas that I've been behind on blogging. We enjoyed the Halloween costumes (how cute)
