Saturday Morning (July 25th), we drove out to the Oregon Coast (after we got my mom's van window fixed - thanks to the thieves from yesterday). We went to Tillamook Cheese Factory first. It was the most crowded that we have ever seen. The workers told us that it is always this crowded - but it has never been since we have lived here (12 yrs) and we usually go out there every summer. We got yummy ice-cream and then went out to see a light house close to Tillamook. Then we found a beach near-by and the kids played in the sand and waded in the cold freezing Northwest ocean water. We wore jackets as well - as it is windy and chilly. I don't think my kids have ever been swimming or have played in warm ocean water - since Oregon and Washington beaches are the only beaches they have been to.
