Fun Activities in December

Due to a huge snow storm hitting the northwest during the last two weeks - we were unable to do some of the Christmas Activities that were planned. Melanie & Emma had two dance performance (we were able to go to both since they were scheduled in early December), and Courtney had four choir performances (we were able to go to two out of four - the two scheduled the last week of school were canceled due to snow).

We were going to go caroling with our ward to the rest homes around Camas & Washougal, but that was also canceled (due to snow & bad roads).

Here's some pictures of the kids during their Christmas performances that we were able to make it to.

We were able to see some fun musical during Nov & Dec too (Anne of Green Gables, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, James and the Giant Peach, Hansel & Gretel, & the Wizard of Oz) - & we are looking forward to seeing Lion King with my family in Az over Christmas Break. We just love going to plays!!

Emma & Dayton after seeing Wizard of Oz with Grandma Coates - we went with a homeschooling group. (sadly Melanie & Courtney weren't able to come with us to this play since they are in public school this year. - Melanie was quite disappointed since she loves plays)

-trying to fix the sleeves in his Coat - how annoying
