We went to Oaks Park (a small amusement park in Portland) on May 30th for an end of the year school party with a Homeschooling Group. Believe it or not, it was a Sunny Day & it was hot!! -- I think it was around 95 degrees. Courtney & I were just getting over the stomach flu & being in the heat all day, really wiped us out. Dayton stayed with his Grandma Coates that day, as I thought it would be a little too much for him (& me --if Don was able to come too- I would have taken Dayton along.) We all had a really fun time!

The girls loved the roller coaster. They spent the last hour riding on it over & over- as there were no lines. They would get off & run back through the gates & get on again for the next ride. They were in heaven.

At first, Emma didn't want to ride the roller coaster, she thought it would be too scary for her. So Melanie & Courtney rode it alone. After seeing how much fun they were having, she decided to try it & loved it.
