First Day of School

The girls are going to Homelink this year. They have a science, social studies, and writing class twice a week, and elective classes (drama, choir, art, and knitting) once a week, and then we do the other subjects at home (reading, math, vocab, phonics, grammar, spelling, health, etc.). They wanted to go Homelink again this year instead of the regular public school. It's more work for me since parents are required to teach 1/2 of the subjects at home & turn in our plans, records, and samples of the kids' work & then of course there is no bus for Homelink so there is a lot more driving. I thought I might be crazy for homeschooling again this year since we just had a new baby, but so far so good... I haven't been stressed out yet :-) & the girls really love it!!
