Here are some pics of some of the activities we have done this month.
Beauty & The Beast
We joined a homeschooling fieldtrip group. So every month there's lots of fieldtrips that we can go on. We have been going to see plays/musicals about once a month. In October, we saw "Honk! The Ugly Duckling"; in Novemeber, we saw "Joseph and the Technicolor Coat". This month we were able to see "Annie" & "Beauty & The Beast". They have been great plays & it has been fun to take the kids to them.
The set (well part of it). I wish I had some pictures of the actors. The candlestick was hillarious.
Grandma & Grandpa Coates were able to join us for Beauty & The Beast.
& Great Grandma Coates joined us too.
Playing around after the Play
Getting some pictures with my new camera (before the screen broke. Luckily, we were able to return it to Costco even w/out a receipt-- Another reason why Costco is my favorite store. They did the same for us a year ago or so, when we returned our couch/loveseat that we had in storage for 2+ years w/out a receipt too)-- and now after that brief endorsement -- we'll go back to the blog.
The Nativity
We went to the Deaf Branch's Christmas Primary Party. We saw Santa (as shown in the other post), the kids also acted out the Nativity Play. Here are some pictures of the Play.
We also made a Gingerbread house. Grandma & Grandpa Coates came over for dinner that night & then helped (watched) the kids as they decorated the house.

Christmas Ballet Peformance
Melanie & Emma's ballet class did a Christmas dance performance for two adult care homes. Melanie danced in two songs & Emma danced in three. Courtney's doing dance with the gymnastic team this year, so they don't perform with the other dance classes. Here are some pics of the two girls dancing. It wasn't anything formal - the kids were just told to wear their pink dance outfits with a Christmas t-shirt over it. Everyone enjoyed all of the Christmas dances.

Looks like Christmas is ramped up at the Coates'! I am impressed with the number of matching outfits you can find. We barely make coordinated choices, smile. Great pics and great to see everyone having such a fun time.
