We went to Oaks Park again for a "Back to School" homeschooling day the first Friday of Sept. Dayton came with us this time. We were hoping Don would be able to come too, but he got tied up with work :(
The kids had a fun day & look (somewhat) happy to be here (in this photo).
You can tell by their faces, they are tired of pictures & want to go on rides. Dayton was enthralled with all the rides.

Dayton's first time on the kiddy roller coaster. He rode with me & the three girls rode together. He really didn't enjoy it, but he made it through it without crying. When I asked him if he wanted to go again, he shook his head "no" (very definitely)

Courtney & Melanie on the Ferris Wheel. They rode on a bunch of scary rides by themselves this time around (didn't get photos of)-- I was shocked that they liked the scary rides, but they did.

What a fun day at the park! It makes me wish I was small enough to fit on one of those airplane rides where you have control over going up and down by moving a trigger-happy joystick.
